After you book your appointment at forgenewground.com, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the clinic address and details. Forge New Ground is a private garage clinic located in a residential neighborhood in San Angelo.
When you arrive:
Use the alley entrance behind the house
Look for the Forge New Ground banner on the fence
Park in the driveway directly in front of the garage.
Once you arrive, we will open the garage door, and you’ll walk right into the clinic space. No waiting room, no crowds.
Just one-on-one physical therapy in a quiet, focused environment.
Is a Referral Required for Physical Therapy in Texas?
Yes. in Texas, you can begin physical therapy without a referral, but a referral from your primary care provider is required after 10 business days (or 15 consecutive days).
Do you accept insurance?
At Forge New Ground, we operate as a cash-based physical therapy clinic. This means we do not accept insurance, allowing us to provide high-quality, one-on-one care without the limitations of insurance restrictions.
Please note: We are unable to accept payment from Medicare patients for covered physical therapy services, as physical therapists cannot opt-out of Medicare. We have no relationship with Medicare,therefore we cannot provide covered services like physical therapy, but we can offer non-covered services such as wellness or preventive care.We accept cash, credit/debit cards, HSA, and FSA payments. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide an itemized receipt (superbill) for potential reimbursement through your insurance provider.
